Cheers to a Brand-new Year!

Another year, and the past year has been a super quick one. A lot has gone by, and with ourselves quite engaged with our personal dealings, 2014 has come by without much of an entourage. It has started swiftly so far, without much bling and confetti I may add.

2013 has been beyond good to me, and I am more than thankful for that. A number of things transpired, have met a lot of new people, some of whom have caused me incomparable happiness. I cried the past year, I argued big time, I doubted and I trusted. But I had may fair share of partying and travelling and being uber crazy. Can't count the number of times where I laughed my heart out, and I'm still looking forward to times and moments like those. 

365 days. That's a lot of days to be foolish and wise, to be weak and strong, to weep and to laugh. We can afford to stumble and fall on some days, and then rise up and fight again the other days. One thing for sure, that's a lot of days to learn new things, explore new boundaries, discover different cities, taste new spices, see the world on a different vantage point. And I can't wait to do just like that.

This year, I have everyone who matters within arm's reach, everyone who cares well within the perimeter, and those who I love and cherish the most closest to my heart. This year, I wish to accomplish more, to see better, to feel every bit of emotion there is to feel. I can never be perfect, but that doesn't mean that I will settle with mediocrity. I will strive to be better and stronger. I will fight being stagnant. 

I will continue to chase after my dreams, that's a given. I will be even more stubborn till fate gets tired of me and let me be the writer that I want to be.. Haha.. I will pray more than before, for I know that He's the best listener ever. I trust more now, 'cause I have given Him the steering wheel to guide me through. I believe more now, 'cause I have learned to cast away things that lead to confusion and doubt. I choose to believe, I choose to trust, I choose to love. One whole new year will surely be quite an adventure, and the fun and excitement loom in every turn. Let's all trek this year with positivism and hope it will lead us to a better version of ourselves. 😍
