My Kinda Girl Friend

We meet tons of people every day and yet only few manage to make a mark -- a significant one for that matter -- in our lives. Only a few manage to touch us in our very core. Only a few we let to go beyond what the mirror reflects us ourselves. These people are the ones who can either knock us down on a crazy laugh, who can make us cry on our idiotic mishaps, who can be the toughest shoulder to lean on to when times get rough, who can pose with you on wacky and crazy photos and not care a thing, who can just be with you when the rest of the gang seems so occupied with their own lives. They're not just your best friend or BFF or soul sister or whatever. Sometimes they come in the most unexpected package and can be called the oddest moniker ever. For me, she just happened to be INDAY.. :)

Well, taddddaaaaa!!! Meet her, isn't she so pretty?? :) I know, I know. We've been friends fro so long and we still call ourselves the same thing. I think it's one of the things that binds us even tighter, because our unique pet name for each other is, I believe, what defines us. We are two different and extraordinary souls who one day bumped into each other and just clicked!! There will no off button for us.. 

 Duck pose and wide-eyed.. Well, that's just one of our crazy moments. We don't  seem to run out of it.. :)

 Genuine friends are those who can spank you on your butt and you wouldn't mind.

They can nag at you till dawn and still say thank you at the end.

They can be the best drama queen and you can be her most avid fan..

 They praise you when your hair is nice

They insist on following your diet and to cut off some rice

Can be a stubborn, can be lunatic

Will be standing by, can't be kicked.

Says "I miss you a lot"

She's rather the showy and mushy type

Accepted me wholy though we're poles apart

Someone who'll stand with you through the earth's wrath.

 Been to the same college

Witnessed her candor, her unleveled courage

Been there in my first heartbreak

Been mad to the man, said he's a freak.

Talked about the universe

How creatures dwell in it, how they live

Talked about our life's bloopers

How we learn to forget and forgive.

 We may not know each other to the farthest edge

Maybe we can't be together through every life's rage

But it's the every moment that we're together that matters

Every memory of us being soul sisters.
