Reunion at Manila Pavilion

We crammed over digesting cases
Almost had a nervous breakdown due to surprise recitations
Worked our brains off (??) to survive exams and quizzes
Our unforgettable outings and sem-enders
The chit-chat during lunchtime (with food from Aling Salve's at that)
The healthy exchange of political views
Constant chance to learn even from simple comments
The POLSOC events
Our profs
Our friends
College was indeed a blast.
And I had these people with me during those four glorious years.

I can't believe it's been already 5 years since we parted ways and we took different paths in our lives. Time flies really fast. We graduated unknown what's next for us, or maybe we had clues and it's just for us to find and connect our loose puzzle pieces. Nevertheless, we braved five years working/studying and it's funny reliving our college days -- how we were so "totoys""and "nenes" back then. I remember how I was so promdi-looking back then. Haha.. We had limited budget for gala days, or to eat out. We can only spend our excess baon to buy tokens in Tom's World. Curfew. I'm not even allowed to stay our past 9. Sleepovers are a big no-no. But like Jordin Sparls said, "That was then, this is my now."
The people you meet in college are people who are bound to stay and stick onto your life, I can attest to that. They'll be constant figures in your life's events. Their names will be on your most recent in FB messages. They will be your Saturday buddies with whom you can vent out your frustrations over work, kilig stories about your love life (or even the lack thereof), or just about some senseless rumblings about life. And yes, they're in it to listen, to pat your shoulders, or sometimes even to treat you with your favorite mocha frappe and cheesecake. Yuuuummm!!!!!
And this reunion of some sort was just what we all need. It was an epic night I might add.. I missed that familiar vibe of being with them. Those discussions about politics and government and social issues and all. Imagine a small room filled with 12 like-minded polsci people. Yes, I need not say more. These people with their diverse views and opinions make the best of conversations.

And the venue is not our usual pick in terms of gatherings like this. It's either we go out of town or just eat out together before. Pero #yayamanin na kami ngayon. Afford na namen ang hotel. Chos!!! ahaha

 Preggy Inday!! :)
The obligatory pose with our artistahin na friend. He's  a member of Asian Pride, the dance group who competed in Showtime. We kept teasing him na iba na ang level nya ngayon, dapat talaga nagpa-fam sign ako sa kanya!!! ahaha
Looking forward to the next time we'll do this. Somebody suggested that we go out of town or out of the country naman next time. #Yayamanin na talaga.. ahaha

I just find this shot cute. :)

P.s. Lab ko kayo guys. (ako na clingy :p)
