Best Men

 Constant. Not leaving. Bound to stay. As cliche as this may sound, these are the adjectives that best describe my ideal man. I mean,come one, with all the speedy or disposable (??) relationships here and there, finding someone who will really stay by your side is like hitting the jackpot in the arcade. Someone who accepts you anyway, with flaws and all, and will choose to stay even after bad days. See, and I know I kinda sound bitter in here, but I just want a non-fictional man who can stand all my crazy antics, my being cold and snob most of the times, just the raw and unedited version of myself. 

I was on the verge of losing hope that such a man exists and one step away to believing that it was just my frustrated writer self who thinks and gave birth to such imaginary man who is bound to stay, but I thought it all wrong. He exists. They do exist. It's just that I found my ideal man in the body of my brothers. 'Coz at the time when I'm starting to lose faith to the opposite sex, they came to remind me that not all men are jerks. The male population is just like the tomatoes: some are rotten and some  are still yummy and good for consumption. There are some out there who are still worth the while, worth your smile, worth your time. 

I'm their baby so they have to choice but to love me anyway, accept me as me however annoying I can be sometimes. haha..  

 

And to that future man of mine, goodluck to you. These brothers I have are bound to guard their baby sister (ME!!) from unwanted parasites. So if you're going to behave and act like one, back off in an instant before you experience their wrath. hahaha
