Rakrakan Festival 2014

Experiencing Rakrakan Festival for myself for the first time, and it was more than I ever expected. See, Inday (the bestfried) said to this event just to put spice in our usual Saturday routine -- lounging on a coffee shop the whole afternoon and chitchatting nonstop. Also, our friend, Ate Blanx, was so eager to watch this hence the invitation to come see it with her. It was a first for Inday and I. This is definitely our cup of tea. Upon arriving at the venue, the longest cue in history (or our history) welcomed us. It was exaggeratedly long. And most of the festival goers  were dressed in black or rocker outfits. We felt so overdressed or not belong. I mean, they were looking at us like "what are these two ladies even doing here?" Yeah, hence our apprehension to still go inside. but Ate Blanx came and convinced us that it will be surely fun inside, and that there's food and good music. So Rakrakan Festival we go!! :))

The venue was nice. It was a big grassy area. Perfect for picnics I must say. And that's exactly what we did. We bought food and had our dinner there on the grass picnic style. We first stayed near the reggae (??) stage where soft music is being played. It was relaxing. I even lied on the grassy air and watched the sky above me transform into different colors. Did I say the ambiance was all kind of romantic? haha.. there were a lot of couples/lovers around. The vibe was so perfect for a relaxing Saturday. :)))))

And I think the highlight of it is reuniting again with Ate Blanx. It's been months since we last hang out together. It's been always Inday and I. The rest of the gang has been very busy  with their lives,so seeing her again and talking and talking was just so fulfilling. Looking forward to my next adventure with my crazy friends.. :))))
