Weekend at Nasugbu

We all deserve a break. That was the common argument that me and my officemates came up to one day, hence this weekend getaway. Good thing we won the Halloween contest in the office,so cha-ching, cha-ching, we have funds!! We were assigned foods to bring, pot luck it is! The thing is we originally planned to go to Cavite de Boracay in Ternate, Cavite but the the fortuitous event is the said place was closed starting that very day (how unlucky for us!!). The Marines are having their Balikatan Exercises which was to run for a week, I think until the first week of December. Well, then the search for another place begun!!

Someone recommended that we go to Nasugbu since it's just mile or so from where we were, also that the beaches there were known to be breathtaking as well. The long ride ensued. Nine crazy heads inside the car is a riot. Mind you, I lacked sleep from the night prior 'coz I went to MOA to meet my sisters and I went home at around 1am already! But still the energy was there!! 

Sight seeing was really one for the books. The lush greens on one side and the vastness of the ocean on the other, how could you complain? There was this beach where we had a stopover that was just so picturesque. The rocks and all served well for my Instagram photos!!! haha.. The water was so cold, so inviting. Thinking of it at this very moment makes me wanna head to the beach again. I'm not much of a beach baby, but still there are times that my body seems to ache for that plunge.

Like my wanderer's side's motto is, TRAVEL AND SEE LIFE AT A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE. After that weekend, we were all fully rejuvenated and recharged. Sometimes all we need is a break from all the deadlines and chaos that are brought upon us by our work. That much need breather for us to be that productive working ant again. Watcha think? 

So hey, you, file your leave and plan for your vacation! You deserve it coz you're working your butt for it! A trip to the beach will refresh you than just your normal cup of coffee jelly!! GO ON!!
